Our remake video

Editing

For the editing we used final cut on the Mac using the cutting tool in order to thinly slice the video to make quick changes and transitions in between the people in time to the music.

Filming

For filming we got a range of different people to each perform the section of the song that we were doing. They were all instructed on what to do and a quick briefing before hand.

Edit Training

For edit training we were shown the basic tools in order to make a transition project as it depended on the video we were creating to what kind of editing that we needed to learn.

Camera Training

For camera training we have learnt how to use a camera and the equipment that goes with it, for example a tripod is used to keep the camera in a fixed position so that it doesn't move out of the set place this reduces the shake of a handheld camera making it look more professional for the video that we are creating. For the video that we are creating the camera needs to stay in the same position at all times otherwise it will not work when it comes to editing. When using a tripod it is important to make sure that the camera is securely fastened on in order to prevent the camera from falling and breaking, it is also important to make sure that all the legs on the tripod are fixed to prevent it from collapsing.
The camera has a grid on the screen we can use this to line up the face to the grid making sure that everyone's eyes are at the same level.

Shooting Schedule

- Testing equipment and lighting, doing test shots in order to see what will and wont work.

-Try and shoot as much as possible

Location

The location that we will be using for our music video is the green room within the college. We will use the black background curtain in order to get that black background and the lighting in order  to light up the figure. All the shots will be taken in the green room.
